I am not sure if there is a simpler way to access this info.

Thanks for understanding the problem, and providing a work round with lots of graphics to help with the explanation. Makes me wonder why Samsung has gone out of its way to reduce functionality. Still can't understand why they stopped the red flashing light when theres a missed a call. Thats annoying

By any chance do you know is this a decision Samsung made with one UI 6.0? Or is this an Android OS update? Based on (connectivity labs) your screenshot I'm guessing this is a Samsung decision. Why do they always do dumb stuff like this? If I wanted iPhone level simplicity I'd buy an iPhone but I love (loved) Android because it allows me to view information like connection speed easily. I just came back to Samsung after ditching their phones for years because I couldn't stand One UI and other software decisions they made. Unfortunately I recently came back for the Samsung Z-Fold 4 and I'm regretting it just like I did with all their previous phones I owned. Like always I love the hardware but I absolutely despise the Samsung software. I miss OnePlus, but hey they have a foldable now so it's probably time to switch back because man do I love the form factor and screen realestate of the Z-Fold 4.

It could be due to the screen becoming edgeless (well almost). You will find apps in Google Playstore that will light up the edge or the camera border on missed calls or pending notifications.

So I can say that is a great feature and all, however I perform a speed test and it's NOT the same number as the phone is saying at all... Ever. Every speed test performed by different websites all reflect the same speed scores but the speed that Samsung is showing... Mystery speed. Not the ping or network speed. No idea what the number actually is supposed to represent. Or where they're pulling it from?

Thank you, this worked for me on Galaxy S22 Ultra (One UI version 6.0 Android version 14).
It's ridiculous though how over time we're more and more limited to what we can see and do (w/o jumping thru hoops or wasting time to research what changed) in android settings and so forth on our own devices. Especially when imo, that's the primary reason many users choose Android devices over Apple devices, much more control on Android than Apple devices!
Thanks again🙂

This is amazingly asinine. Something present on the top level in a often used place.

I'm so upset as it shows the problems in modern UX. A small useful piece of information moved to a bloat ware hidden behind an Easter egg. Asinine UX.
Put it back where it was useful. 1 click into advanced settings and right below IP information. Stop trying to be Apple. If we wanted apple, we'd buy it. You're alienating your customers without attracting Apple's.

Can we start a petition or something to get samsung to put it back? What would it entail to pull it off? I really loved that feature.
