I've updated my device #S21Ultra this morning. Tq for solved the previous problem. I'm able to upload video from my gallery directly to whatsapp. But somehow sorry to say.. when the video been sent.. there is no audio. It's muted. Hope u fix it at your soonest. Tq
Also having the same issue. Such a stupid problem and no one at Samsung is looking into updating the issue. It's not a WhatsApp problem, as there was never this fault prior to the updates. FIX THIS SAMSUNG!
Are we sure this is a Samsung's issue? Maybe it's WhatsApp's?
Anyway, I'm very disappointed with the WhatsApp support team right now. They adviced me to uninstall and reinstall and didn't mention to backup first.. so not only it didn't solve the issue but now have I also lost all my history. 🤬😡🤬
In video editor select the hamburger menu at the right most end and select create movie. Then press back button (or swipe from end) then you can see share button on top. Share and audio will be heard in whatsappp. 😉
I'm on S10 and it's doing the same for me. I've edited and saved as new but it's saving with 0.00 duration, which then can't be uploaded anywhere so I have to then edit and re-save, which then gives the problem with no sound in WhatsApp (although fine in FB). The zero duration has been an issue since the latest update 🤬
This seems to be the problem I was having as well thanks. I had taken a "directors view" video (front & back camera at the same time). Even without editing it had an issue so maybe it uses a different format or codex to shoot those videos. I'm not sure a solution of how to send the video though.
I've been having the same issue since December, once i make use of the video editor on my Samsung galaxy s10 plus, whatsapp mutes the audio, until i post it on Instagram, i then post from the copy Instagram saved on my galary, its so frustrating
