Does anybody know of other threads that are actively tracking this problem?
The only solution we have is to collectively bombard all message boards and social media threads until it gets pushed up their priority list. Which, don't get me wrong, will likely never happen because tech is all about new features, not maintaining a stable platform.
Thanks, Samsung.

Rather than just discussing this online over this forum, we should file a lawsuit.
I know none of us here is going to buy Samsung anymore. Let's spread the word, and ensure a steep fall in the sales of their newer models.
Let's hope Han Jong-hee, Lee Jae-Yong, and all executives file for bankruptcy and regret this decision of corrupting the working phones.

This policy already have at Samsung, Apple & Tesla. U got around 5% chance of winning. You just work around it. Not wasting time & resource.

More than winning a lawsuit, we want to tell the world how unethical Samsung is. Additionally, given the widespread impact, I am sure the chances of victory will be higher.
Apart from the risk of bricking the phone, the workaround has two major issues:
1. It does not work for 50% of cases (depending on the serial number).
2. Even if it works, the phone is not the same. Many apps will stop working since the phone will be rooted.

Has anybody found a solution besides using the S-pen or a mouse?
I have seen some YouTube videos about rooting and rolling back the version but they are full of comments accusing them of being fake, or reports of the phone becoming bricked for rolling back.
I can't believe this is such a huge issue but still has no official word from Samsung on a fix.
Or if I'm wrong, has there been any post or response anyone has gotten from Samsung customer service? Please post here if so for accountability and scale of impact.

You'll have to face big risk when u roll. Back ur android version.. What I did was replacing the machine which has previous android Ver.. I have no choice.. And the lcd works again... Meanwhile the machine that has andro 14 I use it to original lcd... So I just switch the machine of 2 different unit... And then I sold them both. 😅

"Is there any news? There was an update recently, but it didn't work for me at least. Do you think they'll actually fix this at some point?"
