New Update UI 6.1 touch screen unresponsive on S21

After installing the latest update on both phones (S21 5G and S21 5G Ultra 512 GB 16 RAM) the touchscreen became unresponsive. I noticed that the date automatically was changed on both phones to 3rd May 16.00.

The only thing that is working are sides buttons. 

I managed to start the recovery console using:

 1. Side button + Volume down to restart the phone

2. Then very quick I change to Side button + Volume up

I wiped the cache partition and also performed a factory reset on S21 5G but unfortunately did not solve the issues. The only change is that the phone is starting the setup (with a padlock locked on top left corner) a new phone but I cannot interact to set it up.

I assume that the main and major issues are with UI.6.1

Is there anything I can do for downgrading the android/UI and recover the information I have on S21 Ultra?

I hope that there is a quick solution as it is so frustrating for having two top phones and to not be able to use any of them. At the moment I'm lucky to have an A70 with older android and UI but I'm thinking of leaving Samsung after many years and products and not buy any other.

It doesn't matter if the screen is original or after market. I have an OEM screen that has never been replaced and it became unresponsive with 6.1.

Have downloaded G998U1UESCGXF3_G998U1OYMCGXF3_VZW which was available today, and flashed my phone, no change whatsoever, touch screen unresponsive. Just a reminder that my s21 ultra was bought brand new on 20 April 2024, everything is stock Samsung as came out of the sealed box.

If under warranty, send to service center. Samsung should cover it

Have we found a way of rooting the Snapdragon S21 Ultra yet? I didn't want to, but I am ready if there's a chance. I don't care if I brick it in the process or not.

I have the same issue. My Galaxy S21 screen cannot be touched after the update  andro 14 Ui 6.1 And when I tried to replace with an s21 motherboard with OS andro 13. The screen became responsive again. Maybe the solution is by downgrade your OS to 13 and UI 5

I am thinking of filing one, this will be a class action lawsuit because so many people are affected and its samsung that created the updates. If they do not want to provide a solution then or lawyers will.
