My Galaxy S21 keeps showing up as this very long string of letters and numbers. The name of the device is "William's S21" and has been since I got it. The long name shows up on everything from the Your Phone app (on Windows) to Spotify on another device. This only happens occasionally, but it is annoying when it does.

@willcranston: Can you try heading to Settings > About phone > Edit, and re-entering your name to see if this helps? If not, try restarting your phone in Safe Mode, as this will disable all third party apps, and help to verify if the problem is stemming from an external source.

To enter Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.

Monitor the performance for a few hours, depending on how frequently the issue occurs. If you notice an improvement, then restart the phone as you would normally, and uninstall any apps that you have added since you first encountered the problem.
