It sounds as though there's something interfering with the software, but we'd like you to reboot your phone into Safe Mode to see if this is the case. You can do this by holding the Power button > Hold the Power off icon > Tap Safe Mode. This will temporarily disable most third party apps, and allow your phone to run on its most basic interface. During this, please monitor your phone to see if your phone freezes or not. If it does not, it points to the issue being caused by a third-party app, and so in this case, you'll need to remove your third party apps, until the issue no longer occurs!
Forgot to add in how to exit Safe Mode! You can do this by simply restarting your phone.
