Hello @MadAd
What may have happened is that the sim card provided had a temporary mobile number and then your number was transferred over.
Your phone will be picking up the original number.
The best way i know to remedy this is to have your network perform a sim swap which moves your own number to a blank sim card.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Are you by any chance using the RCS text messaging feature, also know as Chat Settings within your Messaging app? This allows you to text over an internet connection, rather than the old text message standard.
Sometimes, when transferring your number over to a new SIM, the network doesn't update the RCS feature to reflect this, so it continues to use the SIM's original number. If this applies to your situation, try turning off RCS/Chat Settings (Samsung Messages is 3 dots (top right) > Settings > Chat Settings). Steps may be different on other messaging apps.
Once turned off, turn off your phone > Remove your SIM > Power your phone back on > Unlock the screen and allow to load up > Then reinsert your SIM at this stage > Toggle the setting back on. This can help with re-registration for advanced network features such as this.
Should the same issue occur, we recommend contacting Smarty so they can get your SIM account/SIM sorted out for you.
