My mother refuses to upgrade her old, unsupported S20 FE.

My mother is refusing to upgrade from a Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780F) and it already has some burn-in of the menu buttons. What phones can I suggest her?

I'd say something like the A55. If she's using an older S series, I'm guessing she isn't using the phone for the S series features. A decent average phone like the A55 could be good

I'd say see if you can upgrade her to the s24 fe as it will have more OS updates than the A series so will last a longer if she don't feel like upgrading that often.

You might be able to get a good trade-in discount as well.

Check you local Samsung website for some great deals as today is cyber Monday

Also , if you can do her a favour and transfer all the apps and data and settings to her new phone so the learning curve, if there is any, is not too steep

I'd go for the A55 also. Use smart switch to transfer everything over.

Sometimes people get used to a phone and shun change. 

Perhaps show your mum this thread and try to coax her into a Samsung Experience Store or Highstreet Network Store that has retail models on display to try out.

I know i will get flogged for saying this, but consider an iPhone, its a less distracting, easy on the eye, simpler layout and to use.

Alongtime ago i did try with my Mum to setup Easy Mode on an S7 Edge, she didn't like it, tried my sisters iPhone said one of them please.

Oddly though she loved the early Samsung flip phones, the original not the ZFLIP, mainly due to unitended pcoket screen touches, but does not like the current ZFLIP range.
