How do I do lidar scanning on the s21 ultra plus

Hi @Simonp100  There was a rear facing lidar on  Galaxy S10 5G S20 Ultra  however it was dropped for the S21 series, not expected to be reintroduced in the near future but may change when there are a greater number of AR apps and games on the market.   It appears that Samsung thinks users are happy with the camera features  on the latest flagships and no plans for a time of flight sensor on the S22 .     https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/04/19/385023-samsung-galaxy-s22-no-3d-tof-camera-sensor-report/

Are there any app for the s21 ultra tof sensor

@Simonp100  As far as aware the S21 Ultra does not have tof sensor either.   There was only a 5g version of the S10 which was compatible.    There is an app called 3D Scanner in the Galaxy store, see some information here https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-note-10-plus-3d-scanner-app-now-available-on-galaxy-store/

Why can't l get the Lidar infrared laser app samsung s21 l would like to try it

Unfortunately, 3d Scanner app is incompatible with my S24 Ultra. Why is that ? Will be any version compatible in the future ?
