Personally I'd reset the keyboard via its settings and or try another keyboard such as Gboard or SwiftKey.
You coukd also try Safe Mode to see if an app @Shelliethefirst or theme is causing a conflict.
> https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ will help to highlight if an app or theme etc is potentially causing issues.
And try > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to hook up to a Computer or insert your earphones to enter into recovery mode.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi, my keyboard (both Samsung and Microsoft Swiftkey) kept disappearing on my new Galaxy S22 Ultra.
At first, I thought that the only way to get the keyboard going again was a phone restart.
But then once the keyboard came back on by itself. After investigating my last actions, it turned out that as long as my phone was still in "driving mode" the keyboard disappeared. They driving mode was shown as a notification on the pull-down screen on the main screen. Once I turned off driving mode, they keyboard came back. (I am using Google maps on my screen for navigation)
