I did the latest update to my phone this morning, now I have a non-stop message coming up. The message is: faster richer higher quality chat on wifi or data.
I know this is related to the enhanced chat and I've tried turning it off about 100 times. It will not go away! Even while typing this post it popped up!
Samsung, please fix this. It is maddening!!!

I'm using the default message app.
This is what mine looks like:

I'm getting this error when I select either turn off or accept. See very bottom of the picture. Anyone else? I've also tried the general notice off. So far nothing is working.

What it seemed to help me is , in ur messages app click on 3 dits, settings, chat settings , turn off the "chat feature" and in "default message type" set to text and multimedia , not "automatic......it looks like it helped me..and if course restart the phone...also somehow "battery saving mode" was on post the update. Maybe only switching the default message type will help (I tried turning iff chat feature and it didnt work but turnibg that off and changing type together helped).....I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo frustrated...and didnt want to do factory reset...hope it will help

Hello, All,
First, Thank You to all who have contributed to this thread and kept the issue in the forefront. This has resulted in generating interest in this issue and in eliciting more and more replies. In particular, Thank You to geekywilly who started this thread and has kept it going in a big way.
Next, I have to Thank Ambo0 for your post which, for me, ****HAS RESOLVED this very serious problem!****. Yes, Ambo0, your post actually worked! To be clear for all, all I did was follow this singular direction from Ambo0 :
“ 2. Apps > Messages > Change system settings >>> set to Not allowed “
I did this yesterday morning, and I have not seen the pop up once since, just over 24 hours later. So, Thank You so much to Ambo0, geekywilly, and everyone else who contributed to this fabulous forum. I remain extremely disenchanted with Samsung, their total indifference and inaction in this serious issue which Samsung caused in the first place. I am very doubtful I will continue my long time patronage of Samsung as a result of this callous indifference.
I encourage everyone still experiencing this disgusting pop-up to try Ambo0’s suggestion as this was the only one that worked for me. Have a terrific day, everyone!

I have tried everything here and this popup won't go away. Fix this Samsung or you will never sell me a phone ever again. S10e.

After many years using Android one devices I decided to try Samsung again.
How $1k+ device can have such serious bug that renders device unusable, it is affecting huge number of people: https://www.reddit.com/r/MotoG/comments/mxkqos/enable_chat_features_popup_in_messages_why_you/
Shame on you, Samsung.
