After the August update, when I reboot my phone, it shows a persistent notification "Secure Folder locked" under Android system section...the only way to make it go is to unlock my secure folder.

I don't want to uninstall Secure Folder, just looking for an one time solution to get rid of that pesky notification. TIA

My Samsung S21 updated to the Android 13 UI-5 yesterday.  I still cannot get rid of the dumb notification to unlock my secure folder after every phone restart!

Why is Samsung so out of touch with this "secure folder" issue, and with the ability to keep the screen on, while on a conference call, or the speaker phone, when the phone is lying flat?

The huge update makes things prettier and a tad more fluid, but no new functionalities were added.  We need more flexibilities/functionalities.

That's right you cant Disable All notifications from 'Android System' i.e. why there is no switch but you can disable certain categories of notifcation for it. To see them you need to click on Android System -> and then Disable Alert.

Totally not BS! See my screencaps to see how I did it on my phone using pratt33k's instructions.

They were right in that the button acts odd, and you have to swap apps or go in and out of that screen to get it to appear togglable.Screenshot_20221130_091409_Settings_1000001620_1669801731.jpgScreenshot_20221130_091341_Settings_1000001618_1669801717.jpgScreenshot_20221130_091513_Settings_1000001623_1669801755.jpgScreenshot_20221130_091423_Settings_1000001621_1669801746.jpg

Just upgraded to a S22 Ultra from a Note 8 and started getting the same prompt after i did an update. I guess its not that big of a deal for me as I may reboot once per week on average, and I'd have to "unlock" it with a pin next time i used it anyway.

That's the ironic part...to get rid of the annoying and ridiculous notification, you have to leave your Secure Folder unsecured by leaving it unlocked all the time. Great job to the geniuses at Samsung!!!

There is NO fix, I finally just got rid of the Secure Folder app and resubscribed to Axcrypt.

Same issue here. Thankfully my s20 is due for an upgrade. Fed up with Samsung's downhill slide and migrating over to Pixel. Can't wait to get my hands on a decent camera finally!

Made an account for exactly this problem. I simply cannot get over the absolute arrogance of greying out the notification button. Does Samsung think they know better than I do what I want my phone experience to be? It's my phone, and I should be able to choose which notifications I do or do not want to see. This isn't a notification that the phone is about to emit nuclear radiation straight into my ear. I should be able to turn it off as I so choose.
