After the August update, when I reboot my phone, it shows a persistent notification "Secure Folder locked" under Android system section...the only way to make it go is to unlock my secure folder.

I don't want to uninstall Secure Folder, just looking for an one time solution to get rid of that pesky notification. TIA

That did not fix the problem as the other guy said. After you restart the phone, same problem.

I made a samsung account just to complain about this unecessary persistent nagging notification. Why do I need to see this every time I restart my phone? How annoying! Please make it stop! You made a problem where there was none before, thats bad developing. I'm moving away from Samsung phones for my next phone, this "update" is pushing me over the edge.

Very few people ever complained about not recieving notifications from a secure folder. What's the best solution? Nag everyone with a samsung phone for one small subset of people.

Do not call me love. I was only trying to assist a community. For my requirements it worked. Apologies If I misinterpreted the broarder issue which was to include multiple phone restarts. Regardless, to be derogatory and sexist is unnecessary.

They aren't calling you "love" I'm pretty sure it's a phrase Americans here use to say "it's still not working even with your steps and Samsung isn't giving us any "love" for this issue we are experiencing". It wasn't meant as a derogatory statement towards you, just a language misunderstanding.

Thank you for the explanation. I appreciate it over whomsoever commented before, calling me a 'snowflake' - opting to insult rather than be helpful, which i thought was the purpose of threads like these- and precisely why i commented in the first place. If it is the case it is a lingual difference then I can accept this and I apologise. In the UK calling a stranger love is not ok. Again, thanks for being a normal decent human, unlike the person before. Much appreciated.

It's ironic that your comment is derogatory.

The phone had an update today, I was thinking 'great, this annoying bug will be fixed at last' but no, it's still the same..

Does anyone from Samsung actually read these forums and take note of bugs found by the user community?

Here still the same, no solution.
