After updating september 2024 security patch on my samsung s21 fe , a green line occures on display. Tried restart and then reset the device but not fixed my issue.Went to service centre but they denied for free screen replacement as the free screen replacement policy was till september 2024.Samsung please extend the replacement policy till december 2024.

Samsung Customer Services wouldn't see your post here unfortunately.
I'm disheartened to hear of the issues your currently experiencing with your phone's display.
Did the Service Centre try troubleshooting steps such as keying in *#0*# to invoke the difference colour test panels to cycle through, to see if that helped.
If the issue is hardware related between the display and mother board , then the display would need typically need replacing.
In the UK samsung apply a Limited 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty.
When that timeframe is over then a Repair would typically be charged for, unless a person has added samsung care+ , or they have insurance cover such as Home Contents Insurance, and or some bank accounts provide cover as a perk of the account.
T&C's and excess fee's would need to be checked.
Or pay samsung the fee to repair the phone.
One would have to weigh up the cost of the phone to the actual value of the phone at present, and take into other considerations such as how long is the phone going to be supported by software updates ,and security patches.

Hi,
I am getting green line now but there is some water signs when service center open phone.
Even i never ever dip phone inside water even S21FE features that you can take photos under water as well for few mins in still water. but i never did that.
May be somehow water patches even it is water resistant.
By giving this reason , samsung care said we can't replace screen for free .what to do. it is 1yr 1month old phone

I also got the same result, They denied my request, what did you do after that
even though that was my sem Exam period
