Hi guys
I didnt receive the last update android pie in my galaxy s9 plus , whenever i do the manually check, it says that the latest update is already installed
I have the galaxy s9 plus SM-G965U

Was the phone supplied directly by Samsung or was the phone supplied as part of a mobile phone contract.
Ir was the phone imported ?
What update version are you on ?
For example I'm in the UK using a phone bought directly from Samsung.
I'm on 1st June 2019 Security Update.
One Ui version 1.0
Android 9.

And i got the phone as a gift so am not sure if they braught it from samung directly or by a mobile phone contract ( i think its its samsung directly cuz the phone does not have any mobile phone logo when i ture it on )

To be sure please download the phoneinfo app from Playstore and then look at the active csc code.
What does it say ?
i.e.
Mine is BTU which means its direct from Samsung.

So the phone isn't directly from Samsung as it would be a BTU Csc code.
XAA appears to be a phone from America going from https://www.androidsage.com/2017/07/12/list-of-samsung-galaxy-country-specific-product-code-csc-and-...
So your dependsnt on that countries Samsung Support sending out the update.

Ok so it appears to be an imported phone.
Updates can be much slower as your dependant on the country of origin releasing the update.
You could try Samsung Smartswitch

I tried with samsung smart switch and it says the same thing, that my phone in the lates update.
I think am stuck with android 8 😢😢
