I just had a problem with the Black Screen of Death. It could not be fixed without fixing or replacing the motherboard at great expense. I tried all the work arounds and had a technician look at it and get the same result. Because of this, I could not get my pictures or Contacts out of the phone.

Therefore, I have an idea and request for future phones.

I HOPE THIS CAN BE SUBMITTED AS A REQUEST FOR CHANGE. It would be nice if you could hook up your phone to a windows computer or other cell phone and have the screen appear on another device so you can login and retrieve what you need. Even if it is just a 4 digit login code. Because you need the screen to work, you cannot login with any password or passcode or even a fingerprint when the black screen appears.
