Every morning an alarm will go off and cat turn off

Have you checked your Bixby Modes & Routines? In my case an update automatically added an alarm at the end of the sleep mode, that isn't displayed in the clock app. Opening that mode and manually configuring it, removing the alarm, fixed it for me.

I wasn't interested in Bixby so I disabled it when I got the phone. Could my mystery alarm on my Note 9 be coming from that, anyway? Where would I find the Bixby modes? Thanks!

Could be. There's an app called "Modes and Routines" where you can set all that. It's a blue/purple-ish icon with a checkmark and an arrow.

Found an app that had got on my tablet called 'Alarmy'
Don't know how it got on there but it caused this issue on my Tab A8

You probably have another Alarm App installed. Just search for Clock and see whether you have more than one Clock app. If yes, just disable the unwanted alarm in the other Clock app.
