End Of Software Support For S9 Series

Just a reminder that the S9 series  will no longer receive security updates, they were released early in 2018  and  unfortunately are no longer eligible for software support. Note 9 currently still receiving quarterly updates.

Hi @Issyf  Your device may be relatively safe for the  immediate future , best only to use official stores though and follow security practices.  The risk though will increase  and if you can advisable to upgrade in due course.  See some information here https://www.makeuseof.com/safe-use-phone-no-longer-gets-updates/

Can't get mine to work with the android auto to display map. Is that because software out of date?

Bummer, so no updates for us samsungs9 users, can't afford a new samsung phone.

@ghostzulu With the lack of security updates which increases vulnerability advisable to consider a new Device. Realise budget is an issue but whilst the A series are not premium Devices may meet some of your needs meantime.
