Contact search

Switch from Apple to S20 and would like to know if there is away to search by type first 2 letters of name and pull up ,as now when i type for example Cal it will pull from name of person city name for example Calgary.

@rr2022: The search function in the Contacts app should produce results for the name assigned to your contacts. To troubleshoot the issue, try opening the Contacts app > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Tap the cog in the top right of the pop up window > Sort contacts by > First name > Name format > First, last. 

Head back to the Contacts home page, tap the magnifying glass in the top right, and search for the relevant contact. If the issue persists, scroll down and double check that the name of the contact is correct. If it isn't, tap on the contact > Tap the pencil symbol at the bottom of the screen > Tap the drop down arrow to the right of their given name (this should be positioned at the top of the screen) > Make the necessary changes > Save.

When I start typing characters in the search bar for contacts, a bunch of irrelevant contacts come up in the results. I would like to see prioritization of the name I am typing and not content in the contact's notes, address, or other contact fields. I'm even seeing contacts show up that have none of the character sequence I have typed so far anywhere in the contact or its field. For example, when I type "shei", a contact named Kenny Seo shows up first. Nowhere in Kenny Seo's contact information do I see the characters shei!

I have the same issue. Is there any solution for this?
