Are we good to charge S21 series phone via type C laptop charger which is a 65W charger?

The very base reason of having a standard type-C chargers for all devices is that we don't need to carry multiple chargers for all our devices.

So considering the S21 supports only 25W charging, can we still use a 65W  type-C laptop charger for it ?
If yes, is there any potential impact on the battery life of the phone?

What wattage of charger is a MacBook charger. Not quite high? Perhaps it's a safety thing. Or it's a scummy thing. "Buy this exact charger or you won't get the speeds" cr**. That literally would show them up as total hypocrites about being greener. Also I don't know what they're taking about the box is big enough to fit my Samsung Adaptive Charger in I swear. I'll go check.

Ahem Samsung. Fits. If the raised edges at the back weren't there to help you pull it out the wall the phone could well fit on top too. And for anyone who doesn't know that black box that's more than half the thickness of the box is what contained the thin tiny cable. It could have been half or a 3rd the size.

I just tried my 130w charger and right enough it just says charging. I'd want to try something more sensible in wattage like 45w now as I can almost guarantee a moderator said a higher watt would only charge it to the max of 25w. But Why if too high would they make it slow charging. As a deterrent?

it's a Samsung thing Samsung has a chip on the chargers that handshake the wattage between the phone and the charger.

Yeah it says 1.67A and 9v as well as 2A and 5V so 15.03 watts and 10 watts.

I'm not looking for faster charging speeds, I have a Lenovo 65w charging cable. I want to know if I can safely use it without it ruining my battery, so that I don't have to keep track of 5million cables.
