Cannot use sd card as before on s10e

I have been saving photos on the sd card in my 10se phone. Now it is not possible. Message says read only. I do not understand why this has happened.

I use the sd card for storage as my phone storage ghas been used up.

Not happy as was working a couple of days ago. Any solutions.

Does the sd card work if you place it in another phone or in a sd card reader and hook up to a PC @Paul3241 ?

Yes it works elsewhere and was working up to a couple of days ago. There is space on the sd card so not full. So no idea why phone says sd card set to read only.
