Can't recieve text messages

Hopefully someone can advise I have a Samsung galaxy S20 FE and my husband has a galaxy 16.. today he has not been able to text me been working all ok until today... 

Have looked at setting and made sure I haven't blocked him by mistake, can text anyone else and everything's working fine.. just unable to text me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you say he is able to text others? Have you checked with his provider to see if there are any intermittent issues?

ssuming youre receiving texts as normal from others?

Thank you .. yes, I'm receiving text from other people just not husband from about 12am today...

@shorty61: Which messaging app are you using: Samsung Messages or Google Messages? It is possible that the issue is storage related, especially if you frequently text one another, therefore please try deleting some historic text messages to see if this helps. 

If you're using Samsung Messages then please open the app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > More settings > Delete old messages > On. 

To backup your messages prior to deleting them, head to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud > Back up data > Toggle on 'Messages' > Back up now.
