As subject state, I cant update my apps OR install new ones after I received the OneUI 4.0/android 12 update. I've tried a factory reset, i tested to wipe the cache partition and the galaxy boost application. Nothing helps. Sometimes randomly an app updates it self and it works but I cant force them to update. This is only for apps installed from Google Play Store. Galaxy store apps are fine.

This work-around is the first thing to work (at least for the time being). I've been trying for multiple days (total of maybe 8 hours of actual work) to get this to work!! I tried just about every combination of work-arounds, but this one is the first to have any effect. Thank you!

Same story for me with the January patch and the December Google play update. The workaround to clear data, disable google play, reboot and reenable Google play works for me, but the issue comes back at some point.

Question to you guys: are you using Galaxy app booster to optimize your apps? I am, so I want to see whether it could be the culprit.

I am not using the app booster, and had this problem too. So far the workaround has worked for.... 36 hours? I'm just saving up all my energy to not chuck the phone into the harbor *when* I see the problem return.

Thanks for the update. Yeah, I have to do this like every 2 days :-((( can't believe it's still not fixed (yes, I do have a work profile).

I found similar issue after updating my S20FE 5G phone to One UI 4. I found a way that when we delete our work profile, it start updating apps using Google Play store for normal profile. As soon as we add a work profile, it stops updating the apps through google play store. @samsung if you are listening, please check this area and provide an update asap.

Now it´s working for me for a week now. (Hopefully it stays that way.)

1) I installed the Google Play Systemupdate (I still had the version from September) then restarted the Phone.

2) Another reboot performed and start in the recovery mode. First "Delete cache partition" and then select "Repair apps"

3) Reboot the Phone. Now go under settings apps Google Play Store clear the cache and date -> disabled the google play store app.

4) Reboot the phone and reactivate the google play store app.

It can also be a coincidence but currently the update of the apps with Google Play Store works even with activated Work Profile.

Thanks. Many said that deleting the cache partition didn't help...

Did deleted the cache caused any issues or data lost?
