I have a wireless Android Auto device for my car that automatically connects for both calls and audio. However, I want to disconnect for calls and leave it as audio only, as the car has its own hands free system. When I go to bluetooth settings on my phone, I can turn calls off but it turns on again almost immediately afterwards. Is there any to overcome this?

That won't work, plus with Wireless AA your using WiFi direct and BT.

Unsure why you want split control for audio and calls in the same car.
