All notifications from this app are blocked

I have downloaded an app called Mezurio which won't function without notifications.  However the app does not appear under Notifications in Settings.  When I choose "all system apps" it does then show, but won't allow me to switch on notifications - it stays greyed out and gives the message in the subject title above.

I have the latest Android software and the app is the current version.  I have rebooted the phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

Has anyone any bright ideas, please?

Hello, same problem here. I have Flo app, yesterday I had been still receiving the notifications and today the notifications are blocked. It really seems like only Samsung phones have this issue. Anyone contacted Samsung support ? What was the answer ?

I have the same issue with the Flo app. Notifications have been blocked for 2 days and I can't undo it!

Contact the app developer.  I emailed and it was fixed in a day.

I came here because my Hay Day notifications are blocked and I can't toggle them on. Did you find a solution?

Finally!!! Somebody who is having the same problem as me!! I am having the issue using the Ember bluetooth coffee meg. Like you, I have to go the "system apps" and then does not allow me to turn on the notifications at all. It also tell me that "all notifications from this app have been blocked by the phone." I have rebooted, reinstalled and prayed...no go! what do we do?

I have the same issue with Hero Bump app. It worked on my old phone but since I upgraded to the S23 my notifications are blocked on 'system apps'
