The 6.1 upgrade killed my touchscreen. I did have it replaced, probably with an aftermarket from what I've read. Is there a way to revert to the previous version? Not cool Samsung!

I followed the instructions on this post. I have s21 ultra. I've heard some people can't match the firmware but I was able to. You need to be somewhat technically savvy. Make sure you back up your data as the phone will be wiped. Fixed me right up though. Everything back to normal.

Hi Brother, even I got this from yesterday. Please let me know if your issue is resolved and how. I literally got frustrated after this issue. 😞

Same issue here ...

I've never replaced my screen though. My phone barely have one year ...

As a strong supporter of Samsung, I think it's time for me to give iPhone a try...

Always having problems with Samsung . Not cool Samsung... Not cool ...

I'm curious how you were able to do anything If you had the same problem? My recent update rendered my touchscreen unresponsive and therefore I can't do anything with it. How do you download anything if your screen won't work???

I have the exact same problem and Optus used a mouse to save all my data.

My screen is unresponsive and optus have offer to advocate to samsung as they can evidence that as soon as they connect the mouse and I was able to put my lock code in, my phone finished the update process.. they can therefore verify that I am telling the truth re what happened when it stopped working.. Cause I could not have started the update of my screen had already stopped working.. Im also curious if samsung are aware that the recent update has done this, why would we have to pay to correct it?

Curious how you managed to downgrade if you touch screen is unresponsive..

Please share cause as you can see a lot of us were affected by the recent update and could benefit from the downgrade also?

Hello, did you have to lose your data?

It's funny Samsung's " authorised repairer" and I use that term loosely was happy to just factory reset my phone.. As the stuff up was NOT my fault I wasn't not happy to loose all my data.. A Trainee at optus used a mouse to allow 1) the update to finish amd 2) me to transfer my data to a new handset before preforming the factory reset..

FYI the reset did not fix my problem.   So I now have a pristine 21g ultra that I cannot use thanks to Samsung.. Since this is a known issue I don't understand why any customer affected would have to pay for the repair?

has anybody called samsung to notify them what's happening, I did and it was useless they said to send it in for repair at my cost or buy a new phone lol ,I told them I'm 100% sure it was the update I got last night but they didn't care
