Let’s get to know our Samsung Community members a bit better! Our community user and Members Star @WireWrangler has been active in the community for a long while and of course we want to know more about who is behind the screen!
How did you choose your nickname, what's the story behind it?
- I build and test thruster control systems for a living, which involves routing hundreds of wires. One day I was explaining what I did and I said, 'I'm basically a wire wrangler.' I thought it was funny so I went with it.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
- Lots to say but no clue where to start. If you get me started I at times don't know when to stop. I enjoy talking tech, tinkering and all things 3D printing. I'm an amateur YouTube creator where I talk about, and teach things related to, 3d printing. I'm fascinated with how things work, and enjoy thinking about other worldly ideas.
How did you come to be passionate about technology, mobile phones and IT&C in general?
- I honestly have no clue how it started but as far as I can remember, I've always been passionate about it. It has always felt like second nature to easily understand when world of tech. Naturally I got into mobile tech as soon as I was allowed. Started with pagers for no other reason but it being interesting. When android was in its infancy, I was counting the days roe it to be released, and managed to actually get the first one a week before the official launch. There were maybe 10 apps available and I was so obsessed that I would check daily and knew every app available as they were released. I stopped counting when it got into the 100s. But I didn't stop seeking the next new flagship. It was a wild ride keeping up with the advancements. So many cool new features. I got into Samsung devices with the Galaxy Nexus back when android 4 was released and have been enjoying seeing the advancements ever since.
What Samsung products do you currently use?
- I'm currently using the Galaxy S23 Ultra as my daily driver, there's also a Galaxy Tab 6 Light and a Galaxy Tab 7 for the kids, also TV, fridge, and microwave are Samsung.
Which Samsung products are you interest to try?
- I would love to get a Galaxy Books Ultra or 360 Notebook!
How did you find out about Samsung Community and what made you active in the community?
- I think it was through the Members app... I honestly can't remember exactly how, but there was a small number to start in the Nordics zone and I jumped in on the opportunity.
What are your passions?
My family and 3D printing...and of course all things tech.
What are your top 3 favorite apps?
This is a tough one. I don't really think of having a favorite. I mean I use social media on the daily but wouldn't consider them favorites. There is a pretty amazing app for 3d sculpting and an app for music and podcasts...ok you asked for 3. I'll stop. 🤪
Something you find entertaining at the moment? It can be anything!
- Life in general! But really, I'm seriously obsessed with 3d printing. I just finished building a new machine screw by screw. And I already want to modify that and build another.
