My general impression is, or I use that facility as a general guide rather than a precise measure, in the assumption that we have no medical requirements to take or keep up hydration, in other words we just do it for our general health benefits
Because with Samsung health app and watch app etc, there is nothing much precise things you can do unfortunately, I always refer to them as 17th century apps when the rest of the world is in 2022

You should be able to select a preset amount (like a glass) or input a custom amount. The way it is currently set up is incredibly stupid and discourages using it altogether

I totally agree ive been wanting to track my water intake but i use a 700ml bottle so it makes me not use the app as its inaccurate... We should be able to customise the water volume of what we are drinking from. I don't know anybody who is drinking from a 250ml glass...

Well the coustom cup size is a good start. But its just that a start. Why is my app just showing one single cupsize to choose from? Why do i have to take the super complicated route of getting my phone out>opening samsung health> 3 dots> choose cupsize before i can click it? Over the day i drink 250ml cups at home, 330ml bottles at work. So why aren't there the nost basic (already preprogrammed cup sizes) to choose from without needing the settings? I want to use the water tracker via the galaxy watch without needing the phone. As it is now it is such an high effort to track the bottles that i either only take 250ml for it so my value is wrong or i just don't use it at all and move to a different app which allows for that kind of basic feature.
If you implement a feature please do it right. So its actually useable and not just "we have that feature on the paper"

To jump off of this, I think the ability to minus amounts would be helpful for many with medical issues.
