Update deleted images samsung J4+

Hi, I just updated my Samsung galaxy J4+ on the 25th December 2019. It has deleted most of my photos on my mobile and sadly I hadn't backed up my phone. I need help trying to get the images back

That's not what we like to hear. Have you checked your Google Photos app and Samsung Cloud account to make sure your photos were not automatically backed up there? To access Samsung Cloud, go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud > Gallery.
