Unexpected routine behaviour, or me being an *****

Hi all.

Have been away from Samsung for a few years, now back and have dived into modes and routines (I have been using tasker for as long as I can remember).

I'm so far really impressed with the implementation m&r has, but have come across a behaviour I'm not expecting.

For clarity, I'm trying to create a routine that finds all active alarms, and turns them off.
I know there is an 'alarms off' then input, but this only works will alarms you specify in the routine, so any alarms added afterwards aren't included.

I have tried unsuccessfully to implement it this way instead:

If:
manually set

Then:
find alarms: alarm status=on (this appears to me to be a get function)
Update alarms: [x]find alarms: Update to Off.

I would expect this to turn all alarms currently on, to off.
What it actually does, it's give me a popup with a list of all alarms on.

I have a feeling this is a PICNIC (problem in consumer, not in computer) issue, but want to check.

Anh help greatly appreciated, and I'm pleased to be back rocking a Samsung device.

Percival

Have you tried the Good Lock app from the Galaxy store. There's an app you can download called routines+ that gives you a lot more routines.1764414993536.jpg

Yeah, I'm using that already.
I think what I'm doing should work, so it's either something simple I'm doing, or a bug.
