Jut purchased my samples tablet .but google play just opens blank screen

Firstly ensure All apps are up to date, you could try a Soft Reset by holding the Power and Volume Down Buttons simultaneously until the Device Reboots. However may need to force stop Google play store via Settings-Apps-Google Play Store. Now go to storage and clear cache and Data. cleasr the cache and Data from Google pl\ay services too.
if still issues try reinstalling Google Play Store.

Was it a used or refurbished one?

Got from currys brand new with google play installed.

Which tablet is it as you just put samples tablet?
I only ask where you got it from because some devices from places like China may have some software issues from being imported
Is it definitely connected to a WiFi properly?
