I recently got the S25 Ultra, and I switched from iPhone. I have been trying to login to my WhatsApp account, but after inputting all of my information and the app loads for Initializing, I get a message saying "Unable to connect. Please try again later." I have tried multiple times, changed networks, restarted my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, downloading from the web instead of the app store, clearing cache and data, forcing quit, took out my SIM card and nothing it's working. I tried login in from my past iPhone, and it does allow me to get in and it shows that I am transferring to my new Samsung, but then I get the same issue again with Initializing and nothing loading at all.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community.

Normally the step is to
Go to settings - apps - WhatsApp - storage - clear cache * uninstall. Then download it again. I know you've tried cache Clear already.

If you still experience issues, I would suggest using WhatsApp Business, as there were issues with WhatsApp awaiting an update—unsure if this was fixed as of now. WhatsApp Business is the exact same but with more features you can ignore.

I had a bit of trouble to make it work on S25U as well, but I was able to make it work just by logging in following the usual steps. My belief is that there is a problem with WhatsApp connecting to the S25U, I don't know how to put into better words, but I believe the WhatsApp app is not communicating well with the phone when you start the initial use, I kept trying to log in as usual for a few days and eventually it started to work and now I don't have any problem with it.

Hi. Try logging out from the other phone and make sure your sim is in The phone you want to use the whatsapp on.

When I changed phone I installed WhatsApp on my new phone but did not log in, then on my old phone, selected transfer chats in the settings(never had an iphone so don't know if that's an option), on mine it either produced a QR code or just looked for my new phone(I had 2 different android phone manufacturers) after I was prompted to sign in on the new device, I think that was even before I transferred the sim, but cannot honestly remember that bit, but I remember being asked to put my number in the new phone and thinking how strange that it worked without the SIM
