Hello, I have a Galaxy S20 which keeps rebooting itself. I have purchased a new galaxy S24 but cannot transfer my data as the old phone keeps turning itself off. I have tried to backup from the Samsung cloud, but it says there are no backups., even though I know I had it turned on. I has had backup on Google1 but this also says no backups. 😞

Hi.

I wouldn't worry about apps as you can always download them as and when you need them.

As for your other data like contacts, messages, photos etc .

If you did backup with Google One they should be still there and should sync to your phone the minute you sign in to your Google account on your new phone.

You could try booting your old phone in safe mode and see of it stops the reboot

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately I cannot enter safe mode as it is now rebooting itself after the Samsung sign in page

@Gem8  Samsung cloud does not back up photos anymore, need to sync with One Drive. other than Google one did you back up to any other cloud services such as Dropbox  or local storage.   Anyway hopefully you are able to access from your Google Account.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
