To make WhatsApp calls answer when opening my flip 4

My phone had an update and now when I get a WhatsApp call it doesn't answer on opening my phone, I have to swipe as well. How do I reactivate answering on opening the phone for WhatsApp? My general call settings are unaffected. Thanks!

Apparently, the phone app has "flip options". If in whatsapp the settings do not provide separate behaviour for the flip action then you cannot change that i am afraid

Nevertheless, try this
settings> accessibility>interactions and dexterity> answering and ending calls> open phone to answer calls> enable
