My A21s and my wife's A21s have been working with smart view for a long time. My router is a Virgin Media working at around 134Mbs download, both the Smart Samsung TV UE55H6800 and the phones have the latest software update, so does the TV, they are all communicationg and connected via the same router. After the power out I reset the router and found no Smart View and that was a few days ago, since then I have tried everything, even my son with his very latest Samsung Smart Phone could not get mirroring to work.
Let me say what happens when you enter the TV 's menu, when you click onto Network then Mirroring or Devices the TV Locks it will not do anything at all, so you have to switch the TV on again and the menu has cleared. So mirroring is not working although when you click onto smart view on your phone the TV displays connecting to Don's A21s. The TV does not connect or display anything from the phone and after a few minutes the TV displays failed to connect disconnecting Don's A21s.
So thats the problem has the TV got a component failure as it is about 8 years old but works great apart from smart view or is there a switch I have failed to switch on?.
I am 90 years of age but started work on computers in 1956 Hollerith 541/542.555 IBM1403 IBM360 then I retired, so I am IT literate but this has beaten me, can anybody help?.
Hope you can advise me Don

@DonDon2: As both the phone and TV need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi router, please head to Home > Settings > Network > Network Status, to ensure that your TV is connected to your router. The power outage may have created a handshake issue, therefore I also recommend powering off the TV > Unplug it at the wall for 30 seconds > Plug it back in and power back on using the remote.
Now, head to Settings > Network > Screen Mirroring, then access Smart View on your phone to see if the TV is visible in the Available devices list. You may also wish to try Settings > Network > Wi-Fi direct, to see if this helps.
