Please check to see if the pictures are stored on the device/SD card by going into My Files > Select the storage type they were saved in > Go through the folders to see if the pictures are present. If the pictures have been permanently removed from the phone, you'll need to restore them from the Cloud or backup device you may have saved the files on before this happened.
