Samsung Notes "resets" PDF view after screen turns off

I'm using the Samsung Notes app on my tabS8 to read and annotate PDFs.

I've noticed that sometimes, after I turn off the screen (even for just a couple of minutes), when I turn it back on, the app doesn't stay on the page I was reading. Instead, it goes back to the first page of the PDF.

This is really frustrating when working with large PDFs, because I have to scroll all the way back to where I was.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Maybe a setting I missed? Or is this a bug?

You won't be getting double apps.

What you are seeing are (for some apps) 2 versions. One to use generally and the second to use in the Secure Folder.
