This happened 3 months ago and again. I reached samsung chat from samsung dot ie

1000002578.jpg

e and chat support said they are Samsung UK. Screen shot shared with them and it shows samsung UK AND Ireland.

My s24U bought in first few days of launch has camera issues. I returned other s24U as they had screen issues. For camera I was promised a software fix and yet nothing happened.

Now chat team asked me they are UK team even though I used samsung Ireland page

They asked me to visit a repair center in Sandyford.  Center is a local repair center and charges 120 euro for camera issue.

What is unfair is chat agent stopped responding. I even said i will complain via Samsung CEO page and no response was given. Samsung is acting absolutely creepy.

Why should I pay for known ISSUES?

I think Samsung UK and Samsung IE use the same support team, I don't think the details they give you should differ due to your location, If it's an official repair store and the device is still under warranty, then they should repair it for free.
Out of curiosity what issues are you having with the camera?

You can read above that They in chat said we only deal with UK. In Feb I spent hours and was later on told we can't help as we deal with UK. I wrote to USA CEO to get help

Camera pics are washed out and, lacks focus. I'm a user of s21, s22U, S23U and all bought from Samsung Ireland store. I still have s23U. No way phone is right.

Pics are better on a 100e phone than s24U. I was told wait for software updates. Never worked.

Also how fair is for chat team to leave chat midway. I showed them screen print that chat is originated from Samsung Ireland and they vanished.

they said they only have UK details, not that they only deal with UK devices. Again, if your device is under warranty then bring it to an official repair store and they should fix it free of charge.

Hi guys. We're wanting a friendly atmosphere here, so we've removed some posts that had unnecessary aggro in them.

@Robotdubs , Some weirdness going on with all of that: Ireland Support apparently claiming not to be; and a chargeable repair for a device that should be still within its warranty period? Very strange. Are you able to DM our @Sam_UK  account (https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1716597) with more info e.g.  your contact details and any reference numbers so we can have a further look into this?
