Samsung health app

How come when i upgraded my phone from samsung s6 to samsung s20 ultra,the samsung health app  no longer is usable in the same way. ie  I  used to be able to place my finger across the sensor to measure heart rate etc and now this function is no longer available.

probably because they updated the app and your old phone was not compatible with the newest version so that's why its gone.

for heart rate sensor your watch should still be able to connect, but you do not have a sensor inbuilt into the phone (s20) if that's what you are implying
