The latest Samsung update includes an extremely unnecessary step which requests that you 'Take advantage of your upgraded device!" suggesting that you "Get the most out of your device with the hand-picked apps best suited for its newest features!".
The 'hand-picked' apps are games that are of no use and there is no option to deselect them.
I have disabled the offending app and it's notifications but it continues to notify me every couple of minutes if I clear the notification.
It is extremely poor of Samsung to firstly push an app that is so integrated into the system that users cannot control it and secondly to push rubbish games to anybody who applies the update.
Samsung, you can do better. Please advise on how to remove AppCloud and please provide an option to deselect rubbish such as this in the future.

Just happened to me, in exactly the same way described by other users here.
Eventually the three apps were installed and I immediately uninstalled them.
It is appalling that a malicious update like this was allowed to go through by a corporation of this size.
IT services are degenerating according to human intelligence. The problem is not AI...

And I had recommended my phone to my wife this week. Luckily she hasn't bought a new one yet.

A member named Freshanger seems to have found a solution that might work:
Quoting: "So I was having the same thing happen to me. I tried doing a force stop of it which didn't work. So then I disabled it which was what I was trying to do when I had pressed force stop. For the sake of my mind before any possible update came around from Samsung and it got enabled again from it happening I ended up actually clicking on the three dots up top of the app settings for it and it mentioned of uninstall the updates for the app. I took a long shot and did that trying to get it gone. We'll So far it's gone. Hopefully this helps you and any of the others that have also been having the issue that have either already posted or just trying to see if others have the same issue."
I have replicated the steps and AppCloud is DISAPPEARED! from my Apps list. Hopefully won't come back.

The first three Apps don't have a Checkbox, however you can press on each app and than deselect it in the next window that opens. Do that for all three apps and none will install.
Samsung, this is the last phone I will ever buy from you. This is shady business practices and on a company phone like mine it is straight out forbidden by my organisation to install Temu. Stop trying to install bloatware.

This is not good at all. Samsung I like your products and have owned many but the way the forced/supposedly unbforced app install works is terrible. The tick boxes are Soooooo hard to untick. It seems to end up installing unwanted apps no matter what I and my wife do. The title of the upgrade and "enhancement" seems great but it installs things I did not want. Disgusting. Even logging into this web site the tick boxes for "Accept terms etc' goes back and re-allows marking rubbish. It would be very easy "not" to do that. This is breaking great trust!

Samsung updates install various pieces of bloatware on my device and just to confirm it is not network related, they change the default place to download apps from to Galaxy Store.
I then have to delete the bloatware and reset every single app, individually, to my preferred Google Play store.
I hope that Samsung read these conversations (or use Artificial fake Intelligence to do so lol) because prior to the expiration of my phone contract I will be doing detailed research into the most trustworthy and genuine phone manufacturer and will refrain from ever purchasing ANY Samsung device of ANY type EVER again.
