For a few years now I have used a desk with a USB monitor essentially as a standalone occasional PC, but when using my work laptop I find PhoneLink a pain, with my Samsung laptop it's not so bad, so my ZFOLD4 can essentially be another Window on my laptop so quickly keeping up with both.
I do use MyPhoneExplorer for Windows it has a screen mirror function but is buggy and laggy.
My only concern is keeping my personal vs work separate, I guess for home WIFI it is fine.
I assumed DeX to PC was no more, but it still exists as well as other ways to connect, Dual Mode, Standalone, Wireless, PC and Wireless for PC.
