Since this morning, my Samsung Galaxy S9 has been continually sending me notifications from Samsung Cloud.
"Keep your data safe. Your Gallery data in Samsung Cloud and your data in Samsung Cloud Drive will be deleted on 01/07/2021. You can download it or move it to Microsoft OneDrive".
There was another notification too, but this is the main one that pops up. It started when I turned my phone on this morning. You can clear the notification but then a few seconds later it appears again. And again. Even if you don't clear it, the phone still beeps. Happens a few times, then all goes quiet for a while. Then a short while later, it all starts up again!
So far, I have tried the following to no avail:
- Rebooting the phone
- Trying to mute the notifications for Samsung Cloud (you can't - option is greyed out!)
- Deleting my existing minimal data in Samsung Cloud (I don't use it anyway)
- Turning off syncing for Gallery and all Samsung Cloud services
- Turning off all but essential notifications in the Samsung app
But the notifications keep on coming!
Please help me - it's driving me absolutely potty!
Thanks

The solution worked but I'm buying a different phone next time. Anytime a company gets too big or gets cocky and this happens.

I as well am having the same issue. On my S8 Plus and my Galaxy Note 9. Samsung has disabled the ability to turn off all notifications regarding this. I cannot silence the notification and I cannot make it go away. I do not like this...this is very invasive Samsung... I have been a long Samsung fan and I've always used Samsungs. But I am constantly bombarded by notifications to buy a new device, or notifications about moving to OneDrive. And I cannot turn them off it will not allow me.

I struggled with this problem on my tablet, with no success. Then I realized the problem was also on my phone, and the phone and tablet were sharing the same cloud space. I changed the settings on my phone and the problem has gone away on both devices. It could be just a coincidence; But I think this was part of my problem. Good luck.

This doesn't work as the main notification switch cannot be tapped /pressed on. I'm getting riddled with notifications from cloud.

This no longer works. And I don't want to connect my Samsung to my OneDrive anymore because all 4 times I have because of a necessary password change, "magically" I have someone trying to access my account from Russia. Daily. I don't want them connected and IDGAF that Samsung does want them connected. It's bad enough that they're already collecting everything I type through the Grammarly extension I don't use, don't want to use, and think it's actually criminal that I have to agree to the terms of use in order to turn off. But I don't also need whoever they're selling my information to in Russia getting into the rest of my data.
Honestly, with all of the privacy breaches, loss of the Note (and that S22 Ultra is NOT a replacement for it, I've tried it out and wasn't impressed), and now thr inability to turn off notifications like this, I will probably go Apple. If I wanted to be treated like an Apple user, I'd be one.
