Since this morning, my Samsung Galaxy S9 has been continually sending me notifications from Samsung Cloud.
"Keep your data safe. Your Gallery data in Samsung Cloud and your data in Samsung Cloud Drive will be deleted on 01/07/2021. You can download it or move it to Microsoft OneDrive".
There was another notification too, but this is the main one that pops up. It started when I turned my phone on this morning. You can clear the notification but then a few seconds later it appears again. And again. Even if you don't clear it, the phone still beeps. Happens a few times, then all goes quiet for a while. Then a short while later, it all starts up again!
So far, I have tried the following to no avail:
- Rebooting the phone
- Trying to mute the notifications for Samsung Cloud (you can't - option is greyed out!)
- Deleting my existing minimal data in Samsung Cloud (I don't use it anyway)
- Turning off syncing for Gallery and all Samsung Cloud services
- Turning off all but essential notifications in the Samsung app
But the notifications keep on coming!
Please help me - it's driving me absolutely potty!
Thanks

Thank you! This finally got that notification to go away for me as well!! After trying to disable notifications or even just dismiss the one that wouldn't go away, and remembering why my next phone probably won't be another Samsung (I've been loyal since the S3 but all these extra apps and ***** I can't uninstall or even disable on a device I paid a lot of money for... I've had enough!), your solution helped restore a smidge of sanity! Thanks again!

Go into the Samsung Cloud app, in the OneDrive section at the bottom, click the gear icon next to "Gallery". Disable sync. Works so far, but lmk if it fixes the issue for everyone else here.

You can search for ADB online. If you're ok with command line. That got it fixed for me. Just removed bunch of things, including Bixy (or whatever that assistant thing is). Hope it will stick.

I would not follow advice to use command line developer tools such as ADB from anyone who is so vague as to how to use them and does not even know the correct name of the Samsung assistant, ot think it is relevant in this conversation.
The deadline is well past. The nags to migrate to MS are finally gone.

I had the same problem on my Galaxy S9. I was able to solve it; I made a Youtube video on it check it out. I hope it helps you out ( (13) How To Disable Notifications From Samsung Cloud - YouTube )

There is no need for a youtube vid as it is all over now.
Also DiaBadass can stop throwing his toys out of the pram.
There is no sense in getting that upset about an entire brand over one small thing.
It was an annoyance, nothing more.
It didn't break the design quality or camera, or S-Pen. The on screen fingerprint sensor remains responsive. The UI remains swift.
Troll or 11 year old?

I was able to hit "force stop" and it finally went away.
