Samsung Children's account

My child has a Galaxy Tab A8. I noticed that her WiFi connection was not stable (no apparent reason), so I went to verify. The only thing I noted was that some 32 updates are pending. I generally think it is a good idea to have updates saved, cannot do so however as I am forced to create a children's account (which I want to avoid as I do believe that there is no reason for this, and a shame that I am forced in creating an account just for this purpose).

How can I update this tablet now? I believe there is no objective reason why updates require the existence of an account, since I cannot even consult the list of apps in this regard (and probably also not simply delete them as they may be not used in any case). I suppose this "feature" came with an update, as I have installed updates previously without any account in the name of my child. I specify that I have this issue using the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK Community Forum

Thank you for your question.

Whether you agree or not, the simple position is that you need to have a Samsung Account to update your child's tablet.

Whether you set one up for your child (recommended) or use yours (not recommended as your child could then change your data / delete stuff etc) is your choice.

Those are your choices. Nothing will change as a result of posting on here.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.
