Samsung A15 5g
Since update to UI 7 the calculator has a bug that places the cursor in front of a zero when opened. Thus keeping a zero behind the first number entered.
Advice was to uninstall/reinstall which I did from Google Play Store, problem solved.
I then checked Galaxy Store and was told that there was an update for calculator that couldn't be automatically installed because the app was downloaded from Play Store.
I duly manually installed it and hey presto the bug was back.

Have checked as you advised:
Google Play Store: version 12.4.00.9
Galaxy Store: version 12.4.00.11
As the earlier Play Store version doesn't have the cursor and zero bug, I'm wondering what bug it DOES have that prompted Samsumg to issue the update which apparently has replaced one bug with another.

Thanks for your input but I won't go through the motions of downloading another app to report feedback, I try to get rid of too much bloat.
There are enough posts/complaints online about the NEW IMPROVED UI 7 update including many about the calculator that developers must be aware of.
Thanks again.
