Samsung account issues

I am trying to log into my samsung account as am trying to put one of my phones back to factory settings. I got the password wrong so had to reset it but whenever I reset it and try to log in it just tells me I need to reset my password again! Any help would be much appreciated.

If you've got 2PA ( two part authentication) turned on, it may be waiting for a prompt from another device?

Hi Hannah I'm new also 72 views and 1 person came up with an answer what's that about
I've got a similar problem and the two stage verification is turned on in the settings on the phone I'm having problems with
I hope you sort your issue out and if you get any tips that would help me
