Since last 5-6 days, whenever I try to connect my buds 3 Pro to my Samsung s25 ultra, it connects properly but there is no sound coming from the apps like YouTube or Instagram. I even tried with different earbuds and the same issue persist with every buds. If I restart my phone it works perfectly for sometime and then the same issue occurs again. I went to the service centre for this and they first did a network reset, then they clear the app cache and a reset again, and finally they told me to do a factory reset of my phone which I did ( it was such a hassle ). And after all this the problem is still there, really frustrated and really pissed at Samsung.

It sounds like you’ve been through a major hassle with your Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Buds 3 Pro connectivity issues—only for the problem to persist even after a factory reset. That’s beyond frustrating, especially when service center steps didn’t fix it.
Since restarting temporarily fixes it, but the issue returns, this suggests a software/OS-level conflict rather than hardware failure. Here’s what could be happening:
The Bluetooth driver or system process may be crashing silently.
Fix:
Go to Settings > Apps > Show system apps (⋮ menu) > Search for "Bluetooth" > Force Stop + Clear Cache + Clear Data.
Then, restart your phone and reconnect the buds.
Samsung’s audio routing (especially with Dolby Atmos, 360 Audio, or Labs features) can sometimes glitch.
Fix:
Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Sound quality and effects > Turn off Dolby Atmos temporarily.
Disable "Separate app sound" (if enabled).
Try disabling "Samsung Sound Assistant" (if installed).
Some apps (like YouTube, Instagram) may lose audio focus due to a One UI bug.
Fix:
Go to Settings > Apps > [YouTube/Instagram] > Battery > Unrestricted (prevents audio cuts).
In Developer Options (enable if hidden), check "Disable absolute volume" and toggle it.
If the buds’ firmware is outdated or conflicts with One UI 6.1/7.0, audio may drop.
Fix:
Open Galaxy Wearable app > Earbuds settings > Update firmware.
If no update, try resetting the buds (forget device + re-pair).
If factory reset didn’t help, the issue might be tied to firmware partitions.
Nuclear Option:
Flash stock firmware via Odin (download latest S25 Ultra firmware from Frija/SamFirm).
Or, visit a different service center and demand board-level diagnostics.
When audio stops, try toggling Bluetooth off/on or switching audio codecs (AAC/SBC in Developer Options).

Thank you for the detailed solution! I did try few things. I don't know what worked but from the last couple of days the issue has not come up again. Touchwood.
