Concern About Poor Noise Cancellation in Galaxy S25 Ultra

Dear Samsung Support,

I am writing to express my concern regarding the noise cancellation performance on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. I recently upgraded from the Galaxy S23 Ultra, and I have noticed that the new model performs noticeably worse when it comes to suppressing background noise, especially during phone calls and video recordings in noisy environments.

Even when I manually select "Voice focus" or prioritize voice clarity during a call, background noises still pass through clearly, making conversations difficult in loud environments. This feature worked much better on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, where background sounds like wind and traffic were effectively filtered out.

I would like to know if this issue is caused by hardware changes or if it might be resolved through a future software update. Is this a known problem, and is Samsung working on a fix?

Thank you for your time. I appreciate your support and look forward to a solution.

Submit feedback via samsung members support feedback.

Wouldn't say hardware as I don't experience what you have.

I wrote a review to Samsung, but their customer service is very poor. I need an engineer or someone who actually understands what I'm talking about. The regular support team is not helping — they're only making it harder to solve the issue.

Sending an error report is the best way to have this behaviour investigated. This is done through the feedback section on the Samsung Members app. This allows our Research and Development team to comb the coding in the supplied logs so they can pinpoint this behaviour and get it working as intended.

When submitting an error report, please include a full description of the problem you are experiencing, making sure to mention which apps, services or features are involved, along with any patterns or behaviours you have noticed. If it happens when you do a certain string of actions, please list the steps that would reproduce the issue.

Before you go to write your error report, please
recreate the noise cancellation issue first. Then within 10 minutes, and without restarting your phone, head in to Samsung Members > Support > Under Quick Help, tap Send Feedback > Tap the pen icon (bottom right > Write your description > Down at the bottom, select Attach System Log Data > Send > Stay on the app and keep the screen awake while the logs compile for sending. This guarantees the event is captured and lets our Research and Development team know what they are looking for in your logs.
