Hi @LiquidSnake It depends if you have the need for some more advanced routines but can be useful. For instance some of the features involve location based quick access by changing what double press/long press does on a particular key based on certain conditions., can also run a macro to perform specific tasks. Some of it involves S pen integration which is not applicable for everyone. See more here https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-good-lock-bixby-routine-plus
You have the ability to turn on Power saving mode in Bixby Routines when battery is relatively low and you can set routines for particular environments, for instance you may wish to turn on wifi when at home and turn down volume and brightness at bedtime.

Hi @JGJ64 , As you may have gathered Bixby is a Digital Assistant. It can perform various tasks for you quickly such as changing settings, sending texts, taking notes, setting reminders, and alarms. You do not need to use it though for notifications. see more here https://www.pocket-lint.com/phones/news/samsung/140128-what-is-bixby-samsungs-assistant-explained-an...
To disable the Bixby Button on modern devices:
- Swipe down on the notifications shade.
- Tap the Power menu button in the quick settings panel.
- In the power menu, tap Side key settings.
- Change Double press interaction to Quick launch camera or Open app.
A bit different on older devices with a dedicated Bixby button , details in this article https://www.androidcentral.com/how-completely-disable-bixby
