Common issue repeating on this forum and one I have been going nuts trying to figure out, as it is an extremely useful Watch notification (which means in the majority of cases I never need to grab my mobile to check).

I originally wrote this off as a Samsung issue, coinciding with 6.1 ish, but trying to figure it out once again this weekend I realised an old Samsung device also had the issue.

Ring Community is pretty hopeless, but looking at old threads on different topics, I had a brainwave, to downgrade the Ring APP version to see if prior versions had the issue.

Fortunately, I only had to install the latest version and manually install Ring APP version 3.77.1, magic thought solved, but then back to the same !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Checked Google Playstore as I was set to auto-update, but it put me back to 3.8?.?

Repeating the uninstall and then manual APK install, all solved, bit of a pain not having my APPS Auto Update, but the Rich Notifications to my Watch are more important.

SOLUTION: Source the Ring APP version 3.77.1, uninstall whatever version of the APP you have from Google Playstore, turn off Auto Update, then install the APK, problem is solved.

Note - installing APK can expose your mobile to exploits, so ensure you know what you are doing and the file is legit.

Things to do, leave a review on Google Playstore for the Ring app, basically a single star and comment "3.78.0 broke watch rich notifications, downgrading to 3.77.1 it works fine, Ring team fix it please"
